Facebook is a marvellous social media platform that helps you in a

along with your objectives, interests and vision. However, sometimes you may
want to close down the group that you created. There could be number of reasons
for that. Maybe the group failed to get the right kind of audience or you find

· You need to remove all the
members for deleting the groups. Go to the top of the group page and click on
the about page.
· Beside each name you will see the
option of removing [X] that member.
· Remove each member by click X
and at the end remove your name too clicks.
· Once the group is empty Facebook will automatically
delete t.
· It is always a good idea to
post about such deletion on your timeline and pin it for some time.
This way even
your friends who want to be the part of the group will come to know that you
have deleted it.
· Also if you have any next
course of action in mind you can post it on your timeline. For example you may
want to change the group into a community website or a Facebook page. You can
inform the members about such intentions or future plans so that they should
stay updated.
